If you would like a valance to accent your
French door, the following valances will work. These recommendations are based on standard-sized French doors, which have window panes about 22 to 25 inches wide. However, they may work on wider French doors are well.
Most of these valances are installed as an
inside mount, meaning that the curtain rod is installed just above the window panes on the
French door. If your
French door is composed of steel, we recommend a magnetic curtain rod. These curtain rods require no drilling; they magnetically attach to a
French door. For
outside mount valances, you will need to make sure that there is enough distance to the ceiling to cover the valance length. We recommend that you read each product brochure for more detailed suggestions.
