Recently, we received an email from one of our website’s visitors. Debra, who noticed that we carry toile fabrics, asked us which fabrics coordinate best with our toiles. She also asked us what the difference between Waverly Country Life and Jamestown, two of our toile fabrics available, is.
First of all, both Waverly Country Life and Jamestown are medium-weight cottons with a coarse, linen-like texture. Waverly Country Life is a large-scale pastoral scenery print, whereas Jamestown is a small-scale pastoral scenery print. Waverly Country Life is especially great for flat swags, scalloped valances or pillows, where one large picture can be centered and made into a focal point. Jamestown is great for shorter valances. This is just a suggestion - both fabrics can be used on almost every product in our online store.
As far as coordinating fabrics, there are plenty. We especially recommend New Heidi, Baylor, Mariner and Ophelia. We also recommend that you take a look at our color families for more inspiration. To view these fabrics and check out our color families, please view ourcolor families.
Note: Our stock constantly changes. Check our current fabric inventory to see whether we still carry above fabrics.
