You just bought your house. You instantly fell in love with it and it was an instant sale. Who wouldn’t love it? When you first opened the front door and saw the living room, those tall windows immediately got your attention. Even your real estate agent uttered a “wow,” didn’t he?
You got through the closing, took care of some repairs, painted the walls, bought some furniture and you still hear an echo when you talk. It still feels very cold and uninviting, so you decide to buy some curtains for those windows.
So you ask your husband to measure the windows. You get a ladder and set it out by the hallway just to make sure that he doesn’t forget about your plea for help. So about a month later your husband measures the windows and tells you that they measure 220 inches, from top to floor. You figure in some extra length for puddling and tiebacks and conclude that you need curtains that are 240 inches long.
So with a small post-it note with “240 inches long, floral blue and yellow cotton, extra wide” enthusiastically written on it, you set out on your journey to buy your curtains. Unfortunately, by the end of the day the only thing you’ve found is that you too are capable of road rage, something you previously condemned. Oh, and you also found out that department stores only carry curtains in 84-inch and 96-inch lengths. Well, some can specially order 108-inch curtains, but that doesn’t help you, now does it?
After a few weeks of your time wasted in department stores that you once used to love, you do what everyone from our generation does when they can’t find something - you google it. And lucky for you, you stumble upon us, where we can give you exactly what your post-it note says - a 240-inch long, extra wide curtain in a blue and yellow floral fabric.
Now all you need to do is go back to those department stores and ask for a refund for the time and gas money spent. Oh wait, you can’t do that, you don’t have a receipt for that. Well, at least you got the 12-foot curtain that you needed.
Check out our curtains. Choose from almost 900 fabrics. Available in 60 to 240-inch lengths.
