Cafe curtains aren't just for the kitchen anymore. Our pinch-pleated custom cafe curtains are elegant enough to create a focal point in any room.
These curtains feature blind stitched, hand-sewn bottom hems, premium lining and a floating bottom hem. Each pleat is formed by hand. Patterns are matched across seams. Interlining is optional. Our cafe curtains are not weighted and flow casually.
Curtain widths:- 1 x width: 26 inches wide pleated
- 1.5 x width: 37 inches wide pleated
- 2 x width: 49 inches wide pleated
Curtains come with drapery pins. Rings not included. Pricing is per one single panel. Teardrop valance is sold separately.

This means that the different layers of each drapery are not attached at one single bottom hem, but instead, flow freely, with each layer having its own hem. This requires blind stitching, which conceals any seams. Floating bottom hems are essential in custom draperies because they prevent any bunching up or sagging of fabric.
Does each curtain gather at exactly its pleated width?
The maximum width that is possible is the pleated width. Having said that, a 26-inch wide drapery can gather to 16 inches, 20 inches, or any other desired width up to 26 inches.
Do I need to buy drapery rings?
Yes, you need drapery rings that match your curtain pole. Each pleated curtain arrives with drapery pins already in place.
When should I get interlining?
Interlining is especially good for some fabrics that need strength such as faux silks and is required for 100% silks to prevent fading by the sun and silk rotting. However, cafe curtains usually go with a casual, country-style look. Unless they choose faux silks, most customers opt for premium lining only to achieve that casual, free-flowing look.
What does patterns are matched across seams mean?
Drapery fabrics come in standard widths. For that reason, any drapery wider than the actual fabric width must have several panels sewn together. This requires that patterns flow continuously across seams. The following is an example of one of our pattern-matched draperies:
