Width (This step is required)
Choose a width for the valance. Note that the number of flat swags will depend on your chosen width.
Recommended measuring instructions:
Measure the width of your window, including any wooden frame. Add 3 to 4 inches. This should be width that you order below. If draperies are used under this valance, add more to give the window the appearance of extra width.

Projection/Return (This step is required)
This valance is made on a lined, wooden dust board. Please select the projection/return of the dust board below. The projection/return is how far away from the wall the window treatment projects. For small- and medium-sized rooms, we recommend that the valance project 3 1/2 inches from the wall. For larger rooms, we recommend a 5 1/2-inch projection. Also note that if you decide to hang draperies underneath this valance, you will need to choose the 5 1/2-inch projection in order to clear enough space for the draperies.
Lining (This step is required)
Choose your lining below. The trumpets are self-lined in the accent fabric chosen above and the swags are lined in premium white lining. In addition, you may also select felt interlining to go between the two layers of fabric, which will give the valance a better shape and make it fuller and heavier.
