A straight kick pleat valance is one of the simplest and budget-friendly ways to dress up your windows. Not only that, but board-mounted valances are well-constructed window curtains that stand for quality and last a long time. The valance features a flat-panel construction with kick pleats on each side for added interest.

We have designed this particular valance to answer the need of many customers who do not want to go overboard in both design and spending. Also, this valance design can answer the need of many customers who have obstructive windows or doors. The kick pleat valance works easily on French doors, sliding glass doors and hinged casement windows. And to make sure that it fits your windows and doors, this valance is available in lengths between 10 inches and 21 inches.

Each valance is fully lined with premium white lining. Interlining is optional.

This valance is available in widths between 18 and 52 inches only. Valance length, excluding any trims, can be 10, 12, 14, 18 or 21 inches as needed. For obstructive windows, French doors and sliding glass doors, we recommend the 10- or 12-inch lengths.

Your valance will arrive already mounted onto the board, which will be lined in chosen face fabric. It also comes with two angle brackets and installation instructions.

To calculate the width needed for a standard window, all you need is to do is measure the window width and add 2 to 3 inches. Please consult the product brochure for more detailed measuring instructions.

Because this is a custom order and requires great attention to detail as well as handsewn details, please note that the average order takes about 3 to 4 weeks to complete by our fabricators. Larger orders may take slightly longer. Your custom design will be sewn in our Atlanta, GA workroom.
