Adding deep and generous pleats to a valance can give it a rich, custom look with big volume. Our custom box pleated balloon valance is a perfect example of a rich valance with deep pleats. Choose from our wide selection of fabrics. Large-scale prints such as cameo toiles and florals are centered onto each pouf. You can either continue the same fabric in the pleats or choose a contrasting fabric for added interest.
This valance is available in widths between 37 and 116 inches only.
This window valance features a 3-inch rod pocket, so it will work on a decorative pole with a diameter up to 1 5/8 inches.
To determine the width needed, measure your window width and add 2 to 4 inches. Please consult the product brochure for designer tips and more detailed measuring instructions.

Because this is a custom order and requires great attention to detail as well as handsewn details, please note that the average order takes about 3 to 4 weeks to complete by our fabricators. Larger orders may take slightly longer. Your custom design will be sewn in our Atlanta, GA workroom.

Choose a width for the valance. For an outside mount -measure your window width, including the window frame, and add 3 to 5 inches. That is the width that you should order. For more measuring instructions, make sure to read the product brochure.
You may also choose a fraction width to add to the width chosen in step 4 above. Note that if you skip this step and do not choose a fraction width, the actual valance width will be the chosen width in step 2 + 1/4". Therefore, we recommend selecting a fraction width if you need an exact fit.
The entire valance is lined in premium white lining, free of charge. In addition, you may also select to add thermal interlining, which will also give the balloon valance a superior shape and volume.
