The Carolina valance is a narrow custom curtain with a uniquely scalloped shape. Use it to dress a small window or French door. Choose from a variety of tassel trims to add to this custom window treatment.
This custom valance is 27 inches wide. Excluding trim, the valance length is 15 inches. A 23-inch length is available if outside-mounting on a tall window is desired (this option is recommended for windows that end more than 9 feet above the floor). If you choose face fabrics with large prints, they will be centered onto each valance. Each valance is fully lined with quality drapery lining. Blackout lining is optional. Trim is required.

Product-Specific Frequently Asked Questions
Is the tassel trim mandatory or can I request this valance without trim?The trim is mandatory due to the difficult shape of the bottom hem. Sorry, no exceptions.
My French door is made of steel and I can't drill into it. How will this valance work? You will need a magnetic curtain rod that doesn't require drilling into the door, not a regular curtain rod that does.
Can I use this as an inside-mount for my bay or bow window? Yes, you can. However, because this valance is only available in a width of 27 inches, the inside of your window needs to measure 27 1/4 to 27 1/2 inches in width.
How do I measure my French door?Measure the width of the panes of your door (a standard
French door generally has no grids or a pane with three grids). If the total width of your panes (plus wooden molding, if any) is no wider than 26 inches, this valance will work.
Should I get blackout lining? If you want a stronger valance or your window is often exposed to lots of sunshine, it is a good idea to add
blackout lining.
The fabric (or trim) that I want to add is not available in the options. Why? If the name of the fabric (or trim) is not available under options, then it isn't appropriate for this specific valance. We have taken those items off the list to make sure that you don't design products that will look poorly on your window.
