It is time to announce a new fabric. Now, you are able to decorate your room to resemble the romantic city of Paris. Pink, black and green are the main colors of Waverly's Tres Chic, a new fabric that we now carry. You can use this fabric on anything in our custom department - curtains, valances, shades, bedding, you name it! Unfortunately, this fabric will be available for a limited time only.
If you are unfamiliar with what exactly makes a custom window treatment (or any other custom-made fabric product for your home) so different from its storebought counterpart, this article might be useful to read before you start the custom design process.
Forget your aunt's rectangular, boring, dated mirror. Today's homeowners are covering their walls with round sunburst mirrors. Sunburst mirrors are considered contemporary elements. But because they were so popular back in the 1960s, they now also give a little bit of a retro, vintage feel. And the good thing is that these mirrors can be used anywhere in your home. They add a lot of glamor to entryways and foyers and look great above a bedroom dresser too.
Something's just not right with Priority Windows. Wasn't the website purple only a few days ago? Well, yes, surely it was purple. And now, everything looks vintage and the purple is gone! We surely aren't missing the purple and hope that you share our enthusiasm about our new look. We'd also like to apologize if our blog posts haven't been as frequent as they should have. The reason (and it's a big secret) - we've been working on a new feature on our website. It allows you to take a look at all our fabrics and trims in our custom department. That's all that we're going to say. Really.
We're always on the lookout for unique design ideas to show our readers and today we'd like to share a design gem from a New Jersey home. Designer Lisa Cregan's recent design, as featured in House Beautiful, repeats colors of periwinkle blue and chocolate brown throughout the entire room. What makes this work so interesting is the choice of the specific shade of blue - periwinkle blue. We rarely see periwinkle blue in homes nowadays, let alone the most public room in the house - the living room.
We would like to introduce Ophelia, our newest fabric. Composed of a soft sateen cotton, it is ideal for rich swags and drapes, but also soft enough for bedding and pillows. This fabric is available in 59 colors and can be found in our custom department on our custom products.
Have you ever spent an afternoon in a vintage shop? There are a myriad of unique and extraordinary pieces to be found. This is the type of style that is so enviable, as generally most items will be one of a kind – unable to be simply bought en mass.
