Fabrics make all the difference when it comes to custom window treatments. We only use high quality decorator fabrics. If you have ever been to your local decorator fabric store, you may recognize some of the designs that we carry. We carry fabrics made by Waverly®, Richloom®, P. Kaufmann®, Premier Prints®, Covington®, Portfolio Textiles®, Kravet® and many others. Our silks are not silk blends that are commonly used nowadays. We carry 100% medium-weight dupioni silks only and not thin dupioni silks that are seen in many storebought draperies. We are also generous when it comes to our lining. You will not find thin percale linings or shapeless cotton linings here. We use only high-quality linings and interlinings that are appropriate for the high-end quality of our products.

	With over 300 different trimming options, you are bound to find a trim that matches our fabrics. These are high-end trims that give off a luxurious sheen. Other competitors seldom offer trims. We offer the latest trims, including beaded trims, which are very popular nowadays.

The beauty of custom-made products is that they can be offered in many sizes. Therefore, we also cater to homes with unique, but also challenging windows. No matter how big or small, we have your size. Our drapery lengths range from 60 inches for small windows to 240 inches for those large two-story windows. Many of our valances are available in widths over 200 inches. Our table runners also can be made very long - up to 160 inches to be exact!

Sometimes it is not simply about the cost of a custom window treatment. Sometimes a storebought product can cost more in the long run. Storebought window treatments have a shorter lifespan so they need to be replaced more often. They also have less fullness than a custom window treatment so even though their price is lower, you may end up buying more to dress a window that a single custom curtain could have. Some storebought silk curtains aren't even interlined. Silk that isn't interlined fades in less than a year. Pottery Barn's® dupioni silk draperies, for example, aren't interlined. Even worse, their dupioni silks and linings are extremely thin. For those who wish for a quality product, custom certainly is the better alternative. Hardware also can sometimes exceed the cost of the product. We have devised products that will save you money on hardware. Many of our valances and draperies are installed onto medallions, not curtain rods, saving you hundreds, possibly thousands of dollars just because you do not have to purchase a special order curtain rod. This is especially helpful for unique window shapes such as bay windows, bow windows and arched windows.
