With a board-mounted cornice, even a simple shape can add richness to a window. One such example is our custom arched kick pleat valance. The valance is board-mounted and features either a 3.5- or 5.5-inch return as needed. Its arched design gives an otherwise plain window a beautiful shape and unique look. It also features simple kick pleats on each corner. You may choose to dress the entire valance in the same fabric for a classic, subdued style. If you would like to spice your decor up a little bit, you may choose a different fabric for the kick pleats. You can mix textures, such as cottons and faux silks, or different prints, such as toiles and gingham checks for a truly unique custom look.
Valance length, excluding any trims, is 20 or 23 inches as needed. Each cornice board is lined with your chosen face fabric. Valance comes with two angle brackets and installation instructions. If you choose face fabrics with large prints, they will be centered onto each valance. Each valance is fully lined with quality drapery lining. Interlining is optional. Possible widths are between 35 and 48 inches.
