Seamstress/Fabricator
We are seeking an individual who will become a part of our Marietta, GA drapery workroom. We believe that every order that we send out must be sewn to the highest standards and want an individual who shares that belief. We offer competitive health and dental plans. Because we know that many of our employees have families and other responsibilities, we also offer flexible 7 am or 9 am schedules*. The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- great attention to detail and patience
- knowledge using a sewing machine and blind stitch machine
- professional and effective customer service and English language skills
- ability to develop his/her own patterns for new designs and present them
- ability to stand on feet at least 75% of the work day
- ability to lift items up to 40 lbs. in weight
To apply, we require the following pre-requisites:
- at least 3 years of sewing and cutting experience in a professional window coverings workroom and 3 references (if experience was as a home business, at least 5 years of experience at 5 references are required)
- at least 1 year of experience working in an environment where customer service was provided and the employee had direct communication with customers
Type of Employment: Full-Time
Compensation: $11.50 - $13.50, depending on experience
Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm or 9 am - 5:30 pm*, Monday through Friday

*Employee will be hired for either a 7 am or 9 am schedule. Each employee, however, is given 15 credits per year. Each credit can be used to change the schedule from 7 am to 9 am or vice versa for one day, as long as the employee notifies management at least 22 hours in advance.
